Cat Eddy has been part of the Wellington Barre and Pilates scene for more than 10 years. An extensive career as a professional ballet dancer, a comprehensive pilates certification with Hearts and Bones Pilates and knowledge gained as Australasia’s first MELT method instructor gives Cat a unique teaching style enjoyed by many.
Cat believes that variety in movement on a daily basis is key to a happy body and mind.
Following a career in commercial dance in Melbourne, Emma chose to retrain in barre, fitball, stick, TRX and HIIT training to help others reach their fitness potential. Emma adores seeing clients pushing their fitness boundaries, guiding them towards their goals & allowing them to deepen their understanding of their physicality.
One quote that describes Emma's classes well is "Though she may be little she is fierce" - Shakespeare.
After graduating from the New Zealand School of Dance in 2012 Frankie went on to gain her certificate in Anti-Gravity Fitness, Barre, Yoga and most recently the MELT Method. For Frankie, fitness is about the way you feel afterwards- how doing movement that you enjoy can change the way you feel, how it can change a bad day to a better one.
She enjoys seeing this transformation in her clients when they come to class after a long day at work and leave feeling proud of what they have achieved.
JJ grew up in Whanganui, trained in fitness and dance in Melbourne and gained 200hr yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. She holds a Certificate in group fitness and has extensive experience working in mental health and correctional settings.
She believes that fitness is an expression, a strength, a celebration of what the body can do.
Björn Åslund is a prolific and award winning dancer, performer, and choreographer. A graduate from the New Zealand School of Dance they freelance as a classical and contemporary dancer, but have a broad experience across a number of different genres including circus, cabaret, musicals, music videos, performance art and most recently, Barre.
Björn also holds titles as Mister Burlesque Aotearoa 2021-22, and the ultimate champion of the Burlesque Rumble 2022.
